Market Manager Position

Hours: Saturdays May-October 7:00 AM–3:30 PM & Ad hoc offseason
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: Remuneration based on experience

About the Job: We’re looking for a friendly, organized Market Manager to run the day-to-day operations of our farmers market. You’ll coordinate vendors, volunteers, and visitors to make sure each market runs smoothly, safely, and with a great community spirit.

Main Responsibilities:

Set up and take down the market each week.
Support vendors with booth setup and site rules.
Greet customers, answer questions, and solve problems on the spot.
Promote market events and oversee social media updates.
Manage volunteers and basic record-keeping.
Ensure safety and cleanliness throughout the market site.

What We’re Looking For:

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Friendly, reliable, and great under pressure.
Comfortable handling basic admin tasks and social media.
Able to lift and move light equipment.
Enjoys working outdoors and engaging with the community.

Volunteers are required Saturdays, from 7am until approximately 3pm.

We require volunteers every Saturday to help with duties such as:

Set up & take down of the market
Tracking market occupancy/attendance
Greeting customers
